The Company

MaxterHost Internet Solutions has been established on the 18^th of October, 2004. We believe that continuous uptime, high performance servers and productive features are self-evident by today's standards. Therefore, we're going a step further with our friendly, flexible and efficient customer support - the essence of our company.

Server Hardware

Our equipment is chosen carefully to ensure a maximum uptime and performance for your web sites. Quality comes first, therefore we refrain from using cheap, unreliable brands or use desktop computers as servers. All our servers are built by Dell and SuperMicro for maximum persistence, speed and reliability; with Intel Xeon or Intel Core i7 processors, 8 GB to 12 GB of ECC RAM and high performance hard drives protected through RAID (redundant array of independent disks). We frequently upgrade our servers as technology improves.

Software

All servers are running the latest stable version of CentOS, a popular and highly reliable Linux distribution.
Managing your web site has never been easier thanks to the most powerful control panel, cPanel. It allows you to easily manage your databases, email accounts, scripts, etc. Additionally, you have access to over 70 popular applications which you can automatically install with just a few clicks through two rich script libraries, Fantastico! De Luxe and Installatron.
Resellers have access to WHM (WebHost Manager), simplifying the process of managing multiple web hosting accounts. This isn't only an essential tool to start your own web hosting company, but you can also use WHM to provide your friends and family with their own web hosting accounts.

Network and Server Reliability

Our servers aren't located in an apartment or a basement, but in Germany's most reliable and secure data centers: Hetzner Data Center Park in Falkenstein and Global Crossing in the inner-city of Munich. The entire network is monitored 24x7 by custom designed internal monitoring systems, 3rd-party monitoring services at 1-minute intervals and by our system administrators who frequently check the health and efficiency of each server. When a service or the entire server becomes unavailable we are instantly notified and start restoring the service/server immediately. Thanks to the KVM switches, which our servers are equipped with, we are usually able to fix critical issues much faster remotely. But of course, we don't rely only on our equipment, but also on technicians which are available directly at the data center during the day and able to get to the data center within 20 minutes during the night.

Phenomenal Technical Support (truly 24x7)

By 24x7 we seriously don't mean that someone has to get out of bed first in order to answer your ticket with an unhelpful, canned reply. Even during the New Year's Eve you can expect, like always, an adequate answer in less than 30 minutes from one of our experienced technical support staff. No students and trainees, but real IT experts with bachelor's degrees and master's degrees working as legal employees and speaking English as their first language.
